The Championships took place on Sunday 20th July with all the matches played on the grass courts on one day. The weather was ideal with the sun shining all day. There were 55 matches played taking over 8 hours, it was a good social day for members to play and watch some amazing tennis as well as enjoy a BBQ and beer from our Club sponsors, the Windsor and Eton Brewery.
Big congratulations to Peter Blanshard for taking the Men’s Singles title after a tough match against Paul Batty in the finals. Anna Lawler took the Ladies Singles title from Julia Perry who has held the title for the last 2 years. Louise Foy and Julia Perry took the Ladies Doubles title home. Finally well done to Bal Johal and Sunita Patel after a close match in the final won the Mixed Doubles.
